The Granddaddy of Them All

The 81st Annual Morton Loggers’ Jubilee will take place from August 8 to 11, 2024, in Morton, Washington. This event, known as “The Granddaddy of all Logging Shows,” offers a variety of activities and competitions celebrating the region’s logging heritage.

Key Events:

  • Thursday, August 8: The festivities kick off with the 68th Annual Queen Coronation at 8:00 PM at the Roxy Theater.
  • Friday, August 9: Hampton Mill Tours in the morning, followed by the popular Lawnmower Races in the evening. Gates open at 4:30 PM, with races starting at 7:30 PM.
  • Saturday, August 10: A 10K Run begins at 8:00 AM, followed by the Jubilee Championship Bed Races at 11:00 AM. The Grand Parade will start at 11:30 AM, and a performance of “The Lightning Thief” musical will take place at 2:00 PM. The first Logging Show of the event starts at 2:00 PM, with gates opening at 12:30 PM.
  • Sunday, August 11: The final day features another Logging Show at 12:00 PM.

The event also includes the Jubilee Saturday Night Dance and various vendor booths, showcasing crafts and local foods.
